Got a wild idea? We build for service members — not the brass, not shareholders. If it's good, it ships.

Det 680 at Old Dominion University puts cadets inside the largest naval complex in the world — Norfolk, Virginia, home of Naval Station Norfolk, NAS Oceana (Super Hornet wing), Langley AFB (F-22 Raptor wing, Air Combat Command headquarters), Joint Base Langley-Eustis, and Fort Story. No other Air Force ROTC program provides this density of joint military culture during the normal academic year. F-22 pilot mentorship, airlift operations culture, and joint electronic warfare community exposure are all reachable without leaving Hampton Roads. The career field pipeline here spans the full Air Force spectrum with a particular advantage in rated aviation and the intelligence community supporting the multi-service joint force. Cadets at ODU genuinely live inside the Air Force's operational world, not adjacent to it.
