Finishing up my separation process. Audiologist flagged significant hearing loss in my left ear — years of range time, never wore my plugs as religiously as I should have. Starting the VA claims process. Has anyone navigated this while still on active duty vs. waiting until after separation? Trying to understand what the difference in timeline and payout looks like.
